Relocation to the UK
Mr and Mrs Z are UAE citizens with young children. They wished to come to live in the UK for around five years for lifestyle and business reasons and instructed us to assist them to relocate.
Asset protection and confidentiality
Mr Y is an entrepreneur from one of the former Soviet republics. In particular, he was concerned about political risk, criminal activity directed against him and unjustified claims by business rivals.
Mr X is Malaysian. He has three children by two mothers. Mr X's objective was to preserve his wealth and protect his business and other investments from family disputes.
Family agricultural business
Mr V, a farmer, died aged 59, leaving a widow and three daughters in their early 20s. He farmed some 4000 acres with a main farmhouse, four let farmhouses, approx 20 cottages and a stone quarry.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Mr D settled an offshore company into a Guernsey Trust. Before his death, his mental capacity deteriorated and he asked the trustees to exclude his wife as a beneficiary. His wife also found she did not benefit from his will.
